Velan Valves Ltd manufacturers a range of "Bonnetless" (monobloc
construction) globe valves & a comprehensive line of Steam
Traps & Strainers. The company is approved to BS EN ISO 9001:2000 & PED-B1+D
A
range of high pressure Globe type valves in ASME B16.34 pressure
class 600pr to 2500pr. The body is one piece & made from Forged
material. Standard materials of construction; forged carbon steel
A105n, alloy steels A182 F22, A182 F316, A182 F91. Other materials
such as A182 F321, F347 and F51 (Duplex) are also available.
All valves have solid stellite disc & stellite main seat.
Valves are available as straight pattern, "Y" pattern
or angle pattern. The valves are manufactured in a variety of styles;
Globe, Stop-check (screw down non-return), manual flow control ("Vee"
plug and calibrated position indicator), Continuous blow-down &
Needle disc. The one piece forged body also lends itself to the
manufacture of high pressure strainers & non return valves.

Valves Ltd also manufactures a unique range of "Universal"
Bi-metallic steam traps. The range covers Bi-metallic thermostatic,
Float thermostatic & Thermodynamic designs. The units are available
in pressure ranges up to 170 bar & in the following standard
materials; forged carbon steel A105n, alloy steels A182 F22, A182
F316, A182 F91. Cast iron and bronze also available for low pressure
process and commercial / institutional heating systems.
The range also includes Velan's unique "Piping King" combined
trap and isolation unit. This particular unit when coupled with
Velan's "Flagship" trap, the high pressure series of "Navy"
Bimetallic traps have given unrivalled service in many of the worlds
power stations over a period of thirty years.
In addition to its manufactured
products, Velan Valves Ltd offers an integrated total valve supply
service and project supply
management.
